Every church should have a website. Every single church. Not having a website is like using tracts that don’t have your church’s information on them. Not having a website is like not having a sign. People need to be able to find your church, to see what you believe, and to read the gospel there. And that’s the bare minimum.
A church website also provides opportunities: the pastor’s sermons can be posted, or links to YouTube if you do video. A blog can share thoughts from the pulpit or from staff members–or even just transcripts of the pastor’s messages. A calendar can let people know what events are coming.
A church website should be modern. There are design conventions from websites ten, or even 5, years ago that don’t look right anymore. that dated website is just like having outdated carpet or decorations in the lobby: not first-class. You want clean and simple design as well.
We can help with that, but if you want to do it yourself, there are tons of resources out there. Build the site in WordPress, use a template and a tool like Elementor, and it becomes pretty simple.
